Casona de La Paca
HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Built in 1877, this beautiful example of a typical “Casona de Indianos” stands in a garden populated with camellias, magnolias, centuries old oaks and araucarias. It is situated above Cudillero, a beautiful fishing town on the Asturian coast. This “casona” was adapted to house a small hotel packed with details. Warm-coloured upholstery has been employed in its colonial –style decoration in combination with more up-to-date patterns, thus managing to recreate a very cosy atmosphere in all the rooms.

The rooms, which are distinct on each floor, are equipped with all the modern conveniences : there are 19 in all, and guests may choose between double rooms, double rooms with a sitting room and spacious galleries that look out onto the setting sun and two special rooms
WHAT TO SEE AND DO
Only a few minutes away, guests may enjoy beautiful beaches (Aguilar, Oleiros or el Silencio) and high cliffs, such as those at Cape Vidío, and beautiful fishing villages, contemplate some of the gems of Asturian Pre-Romanesque art, fish in salmon rivers or practise hiking in spots of outstanding beauty, such as the “brañas vaqueiras” (summer pastures) of Brañaseca, Busfrio and Llendepín.
