HOTEL DESCRIPTION
A traditional, Asturian-style “casona” standing in 7,000 square metres of grounds with numerous chestnut and fruit trees, close to the Picos de Europa National Park and the lakes of Covadonga. Its spacious rooms are predominantly decorated in ironwork and wood. The hotel has a lounge with fireplace and a porch that opens onto the garden, library and board games. It is just the spot to get to know the Cares trail, the River Sella and to enjoy the beaches of eastern Asturias.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO
The hotel organizes guided trips to the Picos de Europa National Park and cultural activities such as poetry readings, theatre or live music. A visit to Covadonga and its lakes is a must, as well as to Cares Gorge, the cave paintings in the Tito Bustillo, El Pindal and El Buxu Caves, the scenic vantage point of El Fitu, Villanueva Monastery, the Chapel of Santa Cruz, the Romanesque church in Abamia, where King Pelayo was entombed, the Asturian Monarch’s Classroom in Cangas de Onís and numerous gems of a historical and nature character.
