L´Aldea Perdida
Built little by little at the beginning of the 20th century by a family of carpenters and masons, this “casona” has been restored preserving the original structure but adapting it to modern-day comforts. The house is situated right in the heart of the Redes Nature Park, on the outskirts of the village of Prieres. The hotel boasts a friendly, functional ambience in a delightfully privileged, natural setting.
The hotel has 8 rooms : one is a duplex with its own entrance, lounge and fireplace downstairs, full bathroom and double bedroom upstairs. Each of the bedrooms is distinct, with its own particular decorative elements and views. All have heating, en suite bathroom, telephone and television.
The indigenous flora and fauna of the Natural Park of Redes. The Park’s Interpretation Centre, in El Campu. The Clog Museum, the Minig Museum, the “Water House” centre and the “Turruxón” (tower) in Rioseco, the Museum-House of Armando Palacio Valdés in Entralgo, The Romanesque church of Tanes, innumerable “hórreos” in Lorío and typical Asturian mountain villages, like Orlé, Gobezanes or Caleao. The hotel organizes nature activities : guided observation of deer bellowing, photography courses, guided visit to one of the most spectacular beech woods in Spain.
