HOTEL DESCRIPTION
An Indiano country house dating from 1908 overlooking the mouth of the River Deva -the natural frontier of Asturias- and the Valle Oscuro, which leads up into the Picos de Europa. Situated in a small, tranquil village, where peace and quiet reign, just 4 km from the dual carriageway. The surroundings boast magnificent beaches and spectacular cliffs, regular locations for films and television series. A hotel, run by Beatriz and Camino, that is brimming with charm in its elegant Indiano architecture.
ROOMS
19 bedrooms, 9 with their own sitting room, all with spectacular views of gentle meadows where cattle graze. The bedrooms, like the rest of the house, conserve the charm that welcomed personalities of Asturian culture and high society in the early 20th century and have been painstakingly refurbished to offer the utmost comfort.
WHAT TO SEE AND DO
The proximity of the sea and the Picos de Europa facilitate all kinds of activities, from hiking to canyoning, pony-trekking to cycling excursions. A stroll along the coast is a must to observe the natural spectacle of the bufones (seawater blowholes), as is a nice swim off one of the hidden, still virtually unspoilt beaches. Not to forget a visit to the Indianos Archives museum devoted to colonial emigration or to Pindal Caves.
